It’s a real honor and privilege to be appointed as the new President of the Hong Kong Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA). Established in 1976, FIDA is a non-profit organization and has been at the forefront of promoting the principles and aims of the United Nations in social and legal aspects, advocating for the welfare of women and children, and promoting education and charitable activities. As a listed organization in the legal subsector of the Election Committee for the election of the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, FIDA’s role is pivotal.

It is with great humility and gratitude that I step into this role, following the footsteps of all the past presidents who have guided and shaped FIDA over the years.  As we move forward, our focused initiatives will include advocacy and legal reform, professional development, networking and community building, supporting underprivileged communities, fostering membership growth and increasing international collaboration.

I am eager to engage with our members and work with our Council to advance our initiatives. Together, we will strive to uphold the values and integrity of the legal profession and make a positive impact on our society.
