In support of law students, our President, Ms Benita Yu, addressed law students at the inauguration of Valorem, the 12th Executive Committee of the Law Society of the Chinese University’s Student Union on 20 February 2019 at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Elite’s Box Off Depression 2.0

FIDA Youth Committee supported Elite’s Box Off Depression 2.0, an integrated platform to empower youth with stress and depression issues. Hackathons were conducted to 100+ university students to brainstorm ideas for Box Off Depression 2.0.

Intercollegiate Debate Competition on 22 April 2018

Joyce Cheng, as the vice chairperson of FIDA Youth Committee, attended the semi- final of Intercollegiate Debate Competition organized by RTHK as one of the adjudicators on 22 April 2018.

Promotion of Thai-boxing 

The Youth Committee collaborated with the Martial Arts Committee to promote Thai-boxing to youth and families. Our aim is to improve their general fitness and provide a chance for family bonding. As one of the Supporting Organisations for Elite (social enterprise founded by Anne) and 上有高堂, we participated in the Mothers Day and Fathers Day Thai-boxing programs.
