Activities in 2018-2019

We are once again a supporting organisation for the Asia Women in Business Law Awards, organised by the Euromoney Legal Media Group, held on 8 November, 2018 at the Island Shangri-La Hotel, Hong Kong. The awards in 2018 supported the Women's Foundation, where all proceeds raised are contributed towards improving the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong.

We were invited to a women’s day luncheon, hosted by 仇鴻副主任 of the Liaison Office of the Central people’s government in the HKSAR on 24 March 2019.

We supported the Mediate First Pledge 2019 programme, titled “Mediate First: Unlocking Potentials”, organised by the Department of Justice, which was held on 24 May 2019 at the Convention Centre

Activities in 2016-2017

We are once again a supporting organisation for the Asia Women in Business Law Awards, organised by the Euromoney Legal Media Group, held on 9 November, 2017 at the JW Marriot, Hong Kong. The awards in 2017 supported the Women's Foundation, where all proceeds raised are contributed towards improving the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong. 

Recently, we also acted as supporting organisation for the Children Health Forum, which was held on 25 January 2018.  Our past presidents, Ms. Sylvia Siu and Ms. Sandy Wong were panel speakers at the forum. 

Activities in 2015-2016

We have been invited by the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) to be a supporting organization of its 25th Annual Meeting & Conference which was hosted in Hong Kong on the 6–9 May 2015 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) is an international association of business and commercial lawyers with currently over 1,650 members. Its flagship event, the Annual Meeting & Conference, generates attendance each year of over 1,000 participants from the Asia-Pacific region and around the world. The 2015 conference in Hong Kong marked the 25th anniversary of the founding of the IPBA.

We are pleased to report that Ms. Angela Ho acted as FIDA’s representative at the conference. There were also four session-only passes offered to our members free-of-charge.

We are also a supporting organization for UNESCO’s peacemakers' cultural celebration. This took place on 18 April (Sat) at the Hong Kong Science Park.

We have also been invited by the past president of the Federation of Women Accountants, Ms. Barbara Kwok, to become a supporting organization for the Association of Sino Enterprises Promotion 中外企業促進聯 (ASEP)’s new project on Smart Enterprises Premium Project. They will work on further collaborations with FIDA going forward.
