Joint Webinar with the All-China Women’s Federation Hong Kong Delegates Association- “GBA Online Seminar Series- Law”

To enhance the Hong Kong youth’s understanding of the development of professional industries in the Greater Bay Area (“GBA”) and strengthen collaboration with the Mainland, FIDA has joined hands with the All-China Women’s Federation Hong Kong Delegates Association (“WFHK”) to organise a webinar titled “GBA Online Seminar Series- Law” on 16 February 2022.

Our Vice President, Vice president of WFHK and Legislative Council Member, Carmen Kan, together with President of WFHK, Deputy to National People’s Congress and Legislative Council Member, Maggie Chan, attended the webinar as officiating guests. Other distinguished guests, including Former Secretary for Justice, Elsie Leung, Vice President of WFHK, Angela Ho, our President, Muriel Tsang, Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Vice President of WFHK, Ling Yu Sze, and Vice President of WFHK, Maisy Ho, also attended the webinar.

Moderated by our Vice President Sarah Wong, the webinar invited 3 experienced guest speakers, Josephine Xie, Zandra Lam, and Heidi Chui, to share their valuable experience and insights in practising law and the opportunities in the GBA. They also introduced the GBA Legal Professional Examination to the participants. We are grateful to the All-China Women’s Federation for co- organising this fruitful webinar. We look forward to organizing similar events in the future to help young people understand the latest developments and opportunities in the GBA.
