Celebrating FIDA’s 50th Anniversary: A Night to Remember at the Former French Mission Building
Following a thought-provoking Legal Conference, the Former French Mission Building in Central was transformed into a vibrant setting for FIDA’s 50th Anniversary Cocktail Reception. Around 150 guests gathered, creating a warm and festive atmosphere as new and old friends mingled, enjoyed a selection of drinks and canapés, and celebrated five decades of FIDA’s achievements.
A highlight of the evening was the fun photo booth set up in the courtyard, where guests enthusiastically posed with playful props, capturing memories of this special milestone.
The formal program began with a heartfelt welcome and introduction by the President, followed by a keynote speech from the Hon Kemal Bokhary. Drawing from his distinguished career as a judge of the Court of Final Appeal, the Hon Kemal Bokhary shared personal reflections and insights, inspiring all in attendance with his journey and dedication to justice.
As the evening drew to a close, guests gathered around a beautiful cupcake tower. Together, everyone joined in singing the FIDA anthem, ending the celebration on a harmonious and uplifting note.
